Witold Rohm (born 1981) is an associate professor at the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics, Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences (IGG WUELS www.igig.up.wroc.pl/igg ), Wrocław, Poland. He received the Ph.D. degree in satellite geodesy from WUELS in 2011, and Doctor of Science in 2015. He spent 2 years as a Visiting Researcher and a Research Fellow within the SPACE Research Centre, Melbourne, Australia working on GNSS meteorology applications in severe weather monitoring (2011-2013). He was research visitor National Central University, Taiwan, MetOffice United Kingdom, TU Vienna, Austria. He is actively working in the International Association of Geodesy as a Chair and co-Chair of GNSS tomography working group.
He is now head of Remote Sensing Chair at the IGG WUELS, and leading research in the GNSS processing and assimilation, InSAR deformations monitoring and spatial BigData analysis. He is head of SpaceOs Leading Research Group. Dr. Witold Rohm was a PI in a number of national projects supported by NCN, NCBiR and is co-supervising projects in H2020, NAWA and OPI.
He is an author or co-author of 40 papers published in JCR journals or peer-reviewed conference materials, related to geodesy, geophysics and big data processing.
